Hastings College is located at the center of the city of Hastings, Nebraska, which has a population of 20,000 people. 

Hastings is about 150 miles west of Omaha and about 20 miles south of Grand Island and Interstate 80.

Dr. Anna Case-Winters, McCormick Theological Seminary
Dr. Bradley J. Longfield, University of Dubuque Theological Seminary
Dr. Nancy J. Ramsay, Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University

Participants:

Presbyterian clergy currently serving the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in some capacity in one of these states:  Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Certified Lay Pastors (CLPs) serving a church in one of these 13 states are also encouraged to register. 

Selection of Participants:

Presbyterian clergy (or clergy serving a Presbyterian church) in the states listed above are eligible to apply. Those who have not previously attended will receive priority in enrollment.  Others will be selected according to a ranking based on their last year of attendance.   Priority will be given to pastors in active service.

Spouses:

Accommodations will be provided for couples only where both husband and wife are ordained Presbyterian ministers.

Accommodations:

Food, lodging, bedding and towels will be provided without charge to the participants. Lodging will be in modern air-conditioned dormitories with two persons to a room. Private rooms will be available for $60.00 for the seven nights. 

The Hastings College campus is non-smoking and no alcohol is permitted.

Use of the campus pool, tennis courts and library is free.   Golf courses in the Hastings area are available at an additional charge.

Participant Travel:

Travel costs are the responsibilities of each participant.  However, the Foundation will consider reimbursement for travel expenses on a hardship basis, if a written application is made and submitted prior to June 1st.
